Thanh Thịnh was a rural commune (xã) of Chợ Mới District in the former province of Bắc Kạn, Vietnam. Prior to 2025, it functioned as an administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Bắc Kạn Province, comprising a collection of villages and hamlets typical of Vietnamese communes.
In 2025, as part of a national administrative reorganisation, Thanh Thịnh merged with the neighbouring commune of Nông Hạ. The combined territory was incorporated into the newly formed commune of Thanh Thịnh, which now belongs to Thái Nguyên Province. Consequently, the former Thanh Thịnh commune of Bắc Kạn ceased to exist as a separate administrative entity.
