Tessa Bonhomme (born July 31, 1985) is a Canadian former ice hockey defenceman and current sportscaster. A decorated athlete, she is an Olympic gold medalist and a multiple medalist at the IIHF Women's World Championship. After a successful playing career, Bonhomme transitioned into media, becoming a prominent hockey analyst and reporter.
Early Life and Junior Career
Bonhomme was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. She played bantam and midget hockey in her hometown before attending Ohio State University.Collegiate Career
From 2003 to 2007, Bonhomme played for the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey team in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). She was a standout player, serving as captain in her senior year and earning numerous accolades, including being named to the All-WCHA First Team.
