Tatyana Lolova (Bulgarian: Татяна Лоловa; 14 May 1934 – 30 June 2021) was a Bulgarian actress renowned for her work in theatre, film, and television. She was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) in Sofia.
Career
- Theatre: Lolova was a long‑time member of the “Ivan Vazov” National Theatre, where she performed a wide range of roles in both classical and contemporary productions.
- Film and Television: She appeared in numerous Bulgarian films, gaining particular recognition for her role as Aunt Licho in the popular comedy “The Boy Turns Man” (1972). Other notable screen appearances include “A Nameless Band” (1982) and the television series “Manea” (1993).
- Awards and Honours: Over her career, Lolova received several state and artistic honors, such as the “Honored Artist of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria” title and the “Stoyan Karadjov” award for contributions to Bulgarian cinema.
