The Tasman Rugby Union (TRU) is the governing body responsible for the administration and development of rugby union in the Tasman region of New Zealand's South Island. Teams and Competitions
- Tasman Mako – The union’s senior representative team, known as the Tasman Mako, competes in the Bunnings NPC. Since its inaugural season in 2006, the Mako have achieved multiple championship titles, notably winning the NPC Premiership in 2019 and 2020.
