Tank Dell

Nathaniel "Tank" Dell Jr. (born October 29, 1999) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL).

Early Life and College Career Born in Daytona Beach, Florida, Dell attended Mainland High School. He began his collegiate football career at Independence Community College before transferring to the University of Houston. At Houston, Dell became a prominent receiver for the Cougars. In his final season in 2022, he led all NCAA Division I players in receiving yards (1,398) and receiving touchdowns (17) on 109 receptions, earning first-team All-American honors from several publications and a first-team All-AAC selection.

Professional Career Dell was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round (69th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he quickly became a key offensive weapon for the Texans, showcasing his speed, agility, and playmaking ability. He formed a strong connection with rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud. His inaugural NFL season was curtailed in Week 13 due to a fibula fracture.

Playing Style Known for his explosive speed, precise route-running, and ability to create separation, Dell is utilized as a dynamic threat from the slot and on the outside. Despite his smaller stature, he demonstrates a remarkable ability to make contested catches and gain significant yardage after the reception.
