Taiga Ishiura (石浦 大雅, born May 11, 2004) is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher who plays for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).
Ishiura was a highly regarded prospect during his high school career, known for his powerful pitching. He attended Narashino Municipal High School in Chiba Prefecture, where he gained attention for his strong arm and potential as a starting pitcher.
He was selected by the Yomiuri Giants as their first-round pick in the 2022 NPB Draft. Following his drafting, he joined the Giants organization, embarking on his professional career in one of Japan's most prominent baseball leagues. As a professional, he is developing within the Giants' system, aiming to establish himself as a key pitcher for the team.
