Thomas Jordan Houshmandzadeh (born June 9, 1977) is a former American professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He is best known for his tenure with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was a key component of the team's receiving corps during the early to mid-2000s.
Early Life and Education
Houshmandzadeh was born in Fontana, California. He attended Riverside Polytechnic High School, where he excelled in football and track and field. He later enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, playing college football for the California Golden Bears from 1996 to 1999. During his collegiate career, he recorded 1,106 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
