Týnec is a village and municipality (obec) in the Břeclav District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 10.49 square kilometres (4.05 sq mi), and has a population of approximately 400 (as of 2023).
Týnec is located approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of Břeclav, 58 km (36 mi) southeast of Brno, and 244 km (152 mi) southeast of Prague.
