Tõnu Tepandi

[[Tõnu Tepandi]] (born 4 July 1947) is an [[Estonia]]n actor, singer, director, and former [[politician]]. Known for his versatile career spanning theatre, film, music, and public service, he has been a prominent figure in Estonian cultural life for several decades.

Early Life and Education

Tõnu Tepandi was born in [[Tallinn]], Estonia. He studied acting at the [[Tallinn State Conservatory]] (now the [[Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre]]), graduating in 1970. His studies were under the guidance of renowned theatre director and pedagogue [[Voldemar Panso]].

Career

Theatre

Upon graduation, Tepandi began his acting career at the [[Estonian Youth Theatre]] (Noorsooteater), where he worked from 1970 to 1983. He then moved to the [[Estonian Drama Theatre]], performing there from 1983 to 1992. Throughout his theatre career, he has performed in a wide range of roles, from classical to contemporary plays, establishing himself as a respected stage actor.
