Plot
Set in the 1980s in Lagos, Nigeria, the film follows Tolani Ajao, a bank secretary, and her roommate Rose Adamson. After facing sexual harassment from her boss Mr. Lamidi Salako and a series of career setbacks, Tolani is persuaded by Rose to become involved in drug trafficking. Rose connects with "OC," an American returnee who introduces her to the world of drug smuggling. The film culminates with Rose traveling alone to London after swallowing packets of drugs, which burst in her stomach mid-flight, killing her. Tolani eventually moves back to her village.
