Sun Racket is the tenth studio album by American alternative rock band Throwing Muses. It was released on Fire Records on September 4, 2020 and recorded between February and June 2020. The album runs 34 minutes and 28 seconds and falls within the alternative‑rock genre.
The production was handled by lead vocalist and primary songwriter Kristin Hersh together with Steve Rizzo. Three singles preceded the album's release: “Dark Blue” (February 2020), “Bo Diddley Bridge” (July 2020) and “Frosting” (August 2020). The record followed the band’s 2013 album Purgaria/Paradise and, according to the band’s chronology, precedes the planned 2025 release Moonlight Concessions.
Critical response was generally positive, with reviewers noting the continuation of Throwing Muses’ signature sound and Hersh’s songwriting. The standard edition contains ten tracks; a bonus version includes an alternate take of “Bywater.”
