Strmec na Predelu is a small, dispersed settlement located in the Upper Soča Valley in the Littoral region of northwestern Slovenia. Administratively, it belongs to the Municipality of Bovec and is part of the Gorizia Statistical Region.

The settlement lies at an elevation of approximately 1,100 meters (3,609 ft) above sea level on the southern slope of the Julian Alps. It is situated near the Predel Pass (Predel), a mountain pass that connects Slovenia with Italy via a road that traverses the border.
