Strensko

Strensko is a small settlement situated on the left bank of the Savinja River in eastern Slovenia. It belongs administratively to the Municipality of Laško and is part of the Savinja Statistical Region. The settlement lies within the traditional region of Styria (Slovene: Štajerska).

Geography
Strensko occupies an area of approximately 0.75 km² (0.29 sq mi). It is positioned at an elevation of about 224 meters (735 feet) above sea level. The surrounding terrain is characterized by the river valley and the foothills of the surrounding hills of the Savinja region.

Demographics
According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, the population of Strensko was recorded as 105 inhabitants in the 2002 census. More recent population figures have not been published in the publicly available sources.

Transport and Infrastructure
The settlement is located near the main railway line connecting Ljubljana and Maribor.
