Stormy Lola

Stormy Lola (Spanish: Loli Tormenta) is a 2023 Spanish comedy film directed by Agustí Villaronga. It was Villaronga’s final work before his death in January 2023 and marked his first foray into the comedy genre.

Synopsis
Set on the outskirts of Barcelona, the film follows Lola, an elderly woman suffering from advancing Alzheimer’s disease who remains the primary caregiver for her two teenage grandsons, Edgar and Robert. When the boys fear being placed in a foster home, they conceal Lola’s condition and strive to keep her at home, navigating the challenges posed by her deteriorating memory.
