Steve Ramsey is an English musician best known as the guitarist and a founding member of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) band [[Satan (band)|Satan]]. Formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1979, Satan is highly regarded as a significant influence on various subgenres of heavy metal music.
In addition to his work with Satan, Ramsey is also a founding member and guitarist for the folk metal band [[Skyclad]]. Skyclad was formed in 1990 and is recognized as one of the pioneering acts in the folk metal genre.
