Steve Goossen is a former Canadian football player who played as a defensive back in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Born in Canada, Goossen played collegiate football at the University of Calgary, where he was a member of the Calgary Dinos. His performance in university led to him being drafted into the CFL.
He was selected by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 1982 CFL Draft. Goossen went on to play for the Roughriders, contributing to their defense during his time in the league. His professional career saw him compete at the highest level of Canadian football.
