Steve Charnovitz is an American legal scholar who specializes in international trade law, investment law, and the regulation of international economic relations. He serves as the Professor of Law at Cornell Law School, where he directs the Cornell Global Trade and Investment Clinic, a program that provides legal representation to developing-country governments and non‑governmental organizations in trade and investment disputes.
