Stanley Park (TV series)

Stanley Park is a Canadian television drama series that aired on CBC Television from 2001 to 2002. Created by Rick Poddubiuk, the series was set in the fictional Raven Point Park, which was loosely based on Vancouver's Stanley Park. The show followed the lives and professional challenges of the park rangers and other individuals who worked in and around the park, dealing with issues ranging from environmental concerns and wildlife management to personal relationships and criminal activity.

The series starred Jennifer Beals as Carolyn Allanson, a park supervisor, and included a diverse cast portraying characters with varying roles and responsibilities within the park system. Storylines often revolved around the conflicts between preservation and development, the impact of human activity on the natural environment, and the complexities of managing a large urban park.

Stanley Park was known for its focus on environmental themes and its attempts to portray the realities of park management. However, it was cancelled after two seasons.
