Stéphanie Foretz

Stéphanie Foretz (born 29 April 1981 in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France) is a former French professional tennis player. Known for her consistent presence on the professional tour for over 15 years, Foretz achieved career-high rankings of world No. 62 in singles (February 2003) and world No. 80 in doubles (July 2007).

Foretz turned professional in 1999 and primarily competed on the ITF Women's Circuit, where she amassed a significant number of titles. Throughout her career, she won eight ITF singles titles and sixteen ITF doubles titles. On the WTA Tour, her most notable achievement was winning the doubles title at the 2002 Internationaux de Strasbourg, partnering fellow French player Carole Martinez.

She was a regular participant in all four Grand Slam tournaments, frequently reaching the second or third rounds in both singles and doubles. While she never advanced to the latter stages of a major, her longevity and consistent performances allowed her to compete against many top-ranked players. Foretz retired from professional tennis in 2016.
