Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems was the wireless telecommunications subsidiary of Southwestern Bell Corporation (later SBC Communications). Established after the 1984 divestiture of the Bell System, the company operated cellular telephone services primarily in the southwestern United States.

- In 2000, SBC Communications entered a joint venture with BellSouth to form Cingular Wireless, which incorporated the former Southwestern Bell Mobile operations.
- Following the acquisition of AT&T Corp. by SBC in 2005, Cingular Wireless was renamed AT&T Mobility, absorbing the legacy assets of Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems.
Legacy
The corporate lineage of Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems contributed to the formation of today’s AT&T Mobility, one of the largest wireless carriers in the United States. The brand name "Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems" is no longer in active use.
