South Chittoor is a riverine island in the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. It lies adjacent to the locality of Vaduthala, to which it is connected via the Vaduthala Bridge. Administratively, it is part of the Ernakulam district.
The island is home to the Chittoorappan Temple and the Chittoor Dhyanakendram. Aster Medcity, a major super-specialty hospital in Kerala, is also located here. The area is well-connected to the mainland by road and has two bus stations, as well as a boat jetty. The Kochi Water Metro includes a terminal at South Chittoor, with plans to develop it as a hub for services to the northern regions of Kochi.
