The Solomon Islands women's national futsal team represents the Solomon Islands in international women's futsal competitions and is controlled by the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF). The team is nicknamed the Kurukuru, sharing the name with the men's national futsal team.
History
The first ever Solomon Islands women's national futsal team was formed for the purpose of the 2024 OFC Futsal Women's Nations Cup. The tournament, hosted in Honiara, Solomon Islands, was the team's first major competition. Their first match against Tahiti on 18 August 2024, which the team lost 1–5, was their first ever international fixture. They finished fourth in the tournament, recording their first victory against Tonga (2–0) on 20 August 2024.
The team's establishment was a significant step for women's futsal in the Solomon Islands and the broader Oceania region, reflecting a commitment to gender equality in sports and the development of futsal in the country.
