Slavětice is a municipality and village in the Třebíč District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) southeast of Třebíč and 39 km (24 mi) southeast of Jihlava, the regional capital.
Geography Slavětice is situated in the Jevišovice Uplands (Jevišovická pahorkatina), which is a part of the broader Bohemian-Moravian Highlands (Českomoravská vrchovina). The average elevation of the municipal territory is around 460 meters (1,510 ft) above sea level. The landscape is characterized by a mix of agricultural land, fields, and scattered forests, typical for the rural Vysočina Region.
History The first written mention of Slavětice dates back to 1349, indicating its existence during the late medieval period. Throughout its history, the village was primarily an agricultural settlement, tied to the various noble estates that held sway over the region. It was often administered as part of larger demesnes, such as the nearby Dalešice estate.
