Skilyr Hicks (1998–2021) was an American singer-songwriter and reality television contestant. She is best known for her participation in the eighth season of the NBC competition series America's Got Talent in 2013.
At the age of 14, Hicks gained national attention during her televised audition, where she performed an original song titled "Second Chances." The song was written as a tribute to her deceased father. Her performance received unanimous approval from the judges, allowing her to advance in the competition. She was later eliminated during the "Judges Cuts" round held in Las Vegas.
