Simon Rhein (born 18 May 1998 in Hilden, Germany) is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder.
Career
Rhein began his youth career at SC Unterbach before moving to the Bayer Leverkusen youth academy in 2005, where he remained until 2017. He then joined 1. FC Nürnberg, initially playing for the reserve team (1. FC Nürnberg II) from 2017 to 2019.
He made his professional debut for 1. FC Nürnberg in the Bundesliga on 28 October 2018, starting in a home match against Eintracht Frankfurt that ended in a 1–1 draw.
On 2 September 2019, Rhein was loaned to Würzburger Kickers for the 2019–20 season. He later returned to 1. FC Nürnberg before moving to Hansa Rostock in 2021, where he played until 2024. As of July 2024, he is without a club.
