Silvia Siefert (born 18 December 1953) is a former East German handball player who competed for the East Germany women's national handball team.
Siefert was a prominent figure in East German women's handball during the 1970s. She played for SC Empor Rostock, one of the leading clubs in the country's top division. Her performances at the club level earned her a place on the national squad.
She was part of the East German team that won the silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada. In this tournament, she played in all five matches and scored nine goals. Her career also included significant success at the World Championships. She was a member of the East German team that claimed the gold medal at the 1978 World Championship, further solidifying her status as a key player in international handball.
