Shunri Oda (born August 7, 1951) is a Japanese physicist and electrical engineer, known for pioneering research in nanoelectronics, particularly on silicon quantum dot devices. He is a Professor Emeritus at the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) and a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Education
Oda received his B.Sc. degree in physics, his M.Eng. degree, and his Dr.Eng. degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1974, 1976, and 1979, respectively.

Research
Oda's research focuses on electron devices and nanoelectronics, with significant contributions to silicon quantum dot devices, single-electron transistors, and ballistic transport in silicon vertical transistors. He has published over 570 research publications and has been cited more than 5,800 times.
