Shotor Khosb (Persian: شترخسب) is a village in Pain Velayat Rural District of the Central District in Torbat-e Heydarieh County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran.

Etymology
The name "Shotor Khosb" derives from classical Persian vocabulary. "Shotor" (شتر) means "camel," and "khosb" (خسب) relates to "sleep" or "drowsiness," giving a literal meaning of "camel's sleep" or "camel rest." This naming likely reflects the village's setting in the semi-arid landscape of Khorasan, where camels were historically central to transportation and trade.
Geography
Shotor Khosb lies at an elevation of approximately 1,352 meters (4,438 feet) above sea level, in a region characterized by semi-arid terrain. The village is located about 6 to 7 kilometers southeast of the city of Torbat-e Heydarieh, the county seat. The local climate is classified as semi-arid (Köppen BSk), with low annual precipitation (200–250 mm) and marked seasonal temperature extremes.
