Shota Kawano (川野将太, Kawano Shōta; born 16 September 1985) is a Japanese wheelchair tennis player who competes in the quad division, a category for athletes with impairments affecting all four limbs.
He represented Japan at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, competing in quad singles and quad doubles, and again at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro in the same events. His doubles partner in both Paralympic Games was Mitsuteru Moroishi.
At the 2015 ITF German Open, Kawano won both the men's quad singles and quad doubles titles.
Kawano made his Paralympic debut at the 2012 London Games, where he advanced to the round of 16 in singles. He is recognized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) as a Paralympic athlete in wheelchair tennis.
