Sherman W. Tribbitt (March 22 1922 – March 14 2010) was an American politician and businessman who served as the 71st Governor of the State of Delaware from 1973 to 1977. He was a member of the Democratic Party and previously held the office of Lieutenant Governor of Delaware (1965–1969).
