Seeley, New Jersey

Seeley is an unincorporated community located within Upper Deerfield Township in Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States. It is situated in the southern portion of the state, positioned along the Cohansey River.

The community is primarily characterized by residential and rural land use. A central geographical feature of the area is Seeley Lake, which is a reservoir formed by the Seeley Lake Dam on the Cohansey River. Historically, the site utilized the river's water power to support local industry; records indicate the presence of a grist mill and a wood-turning mill at the location during the 19th century.

Seeley is located at an elevation of approximately 69 feet (21 meters) above sea level. The community is served by County Route 611, also known as Seeley Road, which connects the area to the nearby city of Bridgeton. The community is recognized by the United States Geological Survey's Geographic Names Information System.
