Sebastian Tretola
Sebastian Tretola (born April 16, 1991) is an American former professional gridiron football player who played as an an offensive lineman. He was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and also played for the Oakland Raiders.
Early Life and High School Career
Tretola was born in San Bernardino, California. He attended Cajon High School in San Bernardino, where he played high school football as both an offensive and defensive lineman. During his time at Cajon, he was recognized as a highly-rated recruit for his position.
College Career
Tretola began his college football career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he redshirted his initial year. He later transferred to the College of San Mateo, a junior college, where he continued to play offensive line. His performance at San Mateo led to his transfer to the University of Arkansas. At Arkansas, Tretola became a prominent starter on the offensive line for the Razorbacks, contributing significantly to their rushing attack and earning a reputation for his strong blocking abilities during his collegiate tenure.
Professional Career
Tennessee Titans
Sebastian Tretola was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round (193rd overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. He signed his rookie contract with the team on May 9, 2016. During his rookie season, Tretola spent most of his time on the Titans' practice squad and saw limited game action. He was waived by the Titans on September 2, 2017, as part of the team's final roster cuts.
Oakland Raiders
On September 3, 2017, Tretola was claimed off waivers by the Oakland Raiders. He remained with the Raiders for the 2017 season, appearing in a few games, primarily contributing on special teams and serving as a backup offensive lineman. Tretola was released by the Raiders on September 1, 2018, before the start of the 2018 NFL season.
Post-Playing Career
Following his release from the Oakland Raiders, Tretola did not sign with another NFL team, effectively concluding his professional football career.
