Saurpani is a village and former Village Development Committee (VDC) located in the Gorkha District of Gandaki Province, Nepal. Situated in a mountainous region, it is known for its rural landscape and agricultural activities. Following the administrative restructuring of Nepal, Saurpani's territory was integrated into the larger Gandaki Rural Municipality.
Saurpani gained particular attention in the aftermath of the devastating April 2015 Nepal earthquake. Being relatively close to the earthquake's epicenter, the area experienced significant damage to homes, infrastructure, and local livelihoods, leading to extensive humanitarian and reconstruction efforts.
