Sanae Tsuchida (土田 早苗, Tsuchida Sanae, born March 25, 1949) is a Japanese actress and voice actress from Osaka Prefecture. She is primarily known for her extensive career in television dramas, particularly period pieces (jidaigeki), and for her voice acting work in anime and video games.
Career
Tsuchida began her career in the late 1960s, quickly establishing herself as a versatile actress in both modern and historical dramas. She gained significant recognition for her roles in various NHK Taiga dramas and other historical series, where she often portrayed strong female characters.In addition to her live-action work, Tsuchida has a notable career as a voice actress (seiyū).
