Samuel Harvey (politician)

Samuel Harvey (born December 25, 1769, died July 17, 1842) was an American politician from New Hampshire. He served as a United States Representative and as a Judge.

Born in Sutton, Massachusetts, Harvey moved to New Hampshire and practiced law. He was elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Eighth Congress (March 4, 1803 – March 3, 1805). He was not a candidate for reelection in 1804.

Harvey served as a judge of the court of common pleas in New Hampshire for several years. He later held various local offices. He died in Sutton, New Hampshire, and is interred there.
