Saint Odd

Saint Odd is a novel by American author Dean Koontz, published in 2014. It is the seventh and final book in the Odd Thomas series, which chronicles the adventures of Odd Thomas, a young man from Pico Mundo, California, who possesses the supernatural ability to see the lingering spirits of the dead (bodachs), who are drawn to places where violence or tragedy will occur.

The series explores themes of good versus evil, fate, free will, and the nature of heroism, often with philosophical and spiritual undertones. Saint Odd serves as the culmination of Odd Thomas's journey, bringing his long quest for meaning and resolution to a definitive end, and clarifying his role as a unique, almost saintly, figure in the ongoing struggle against darkness. The title itself alludes to the character's extraordinary moral fortitude and his selfless dedication to protecting others, despite his often strange and difficult circumstances.
