Safura Alizadeh (born 20 September 1992), known mononymously as Safura, is an Azerbaijani singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained international recognition after representing Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song “Drip Drop,” finishing in fifth place.
Early life and education
Safura was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, to parents who encouraged her involvement in music and the performing arts. She began vocal training at a young age and participated in local music competitions.
