Sabrina Windmüller (born 13 October 1987) is a Swiss former ski jumper. She competed on the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup circuit and is noted for being the first athlete to win an individual Ladies' World Cup event, achieving the victory on 7 January 2012 in Hinterzarten, Germany, on the normal hill.
Early life and background
Windmüller was born in Walenstadt, Switzerland. She is 1.71 m tall and represented the ski club SSC Toggenburg during her competitive career.
Career
Windmüller’s World Cup participation spanned the 2011/12 season and subsequently the 2013/14 through 2016/17 seasons. Over her career she recorded 46 individual starts, achieving one individual win and a single podium finish, as well as two team starts. Her overall World Cup standings included a 20th‑place finish in the 2011/12 season, 46th in 2013/14, 43rd in 2014/15, and 53rd in 2015/16.
The landmark victory in Hinterzarten marked the inaugural win in the history of the Ladies' World Cup series, establishing Windmüller as a pioneering figure in women’s ski jumping.
