Sıddıklı Dam

The Sıddıklı Dam (Turkish: Sıddıklı Barajı) is an earth-fill dam situated in the Kırşehir Province of central Turkey, specifically near the Mucur district. Its primary purpose is to provide irrigation water for agricultural lands in the surrounding region, playing a significant role in supporting local farming activities and the rural economy.

Constructed by the State Hydraulic Works (Devlet Su İşleri – DSİ), the Sıddıklı Dam was completed in 2002. It stands approximately 36 meters (118 feet) high from its foundation and features a reservoir with an active storage capacity of around 20.3 million cubic meters (717 million cubic feet) of water. The dam's operation facilitates the irrigation of thousands of hectares of agricultural land, contributing to increased crop yields and overall agricultural productivity in the Kırşehir area.
