Rungkut

Rungkut is a district (kecamatan) located in the eastern part of Surabaya, the capital city of the Indonesian province of East Java. It is one of Surabaya’s administrative subdivisions and comprises several urban villages (kelurahan).

Geography
Rungkut lies on the eastern fringe of Surabaya, bordering the districts of Wonokromo to the west, and neighboring the regency of Gresik to the east. The district is situated at an average elevation of 5–10 metres above sea level and is traversed by a network of roads that connect it to the central business district of Surabaya and to the industrial zones of the surrounding region.
