Rudolf Geiter

Rudolf Geiter (born March 12, 1937) is a German former professional footballer who played primarily as a midfielder. He is best known for his time with FC Bayern Munich in the 1960s.

Geiter began his professional career and joined Bayern Munich in 1961. He was an integral part of the team during a significant period in the club's history. He contributed to Bayern Munich's promotion to the newly formed Bundesliga in 1965. The following season, in 1966, he was a member of the Bayern Munich squad that won the DFB-Pokal (German Cup), marking one of the club's first major successes in the Bundesliga era. He played alongside notable figures such as Sepp Maier, Franz Beckenbauer, and Gerd Müller in the early years of their careers.

Geiter continued to play for Bayern Munich in the initial seasons of the Bundesliga before his departure. His career spanned a pivotal period for the club, helping to establish their presence in German top-flight football.
