Ross Jarman

Ross Jarman (born 1984) is a British musician, best known as the drummer and a founding member of the indie rock band The Cribs. He forms one-third of the band alongside his two elder brothers, Gary Jarman (bass, vocals) and Ryan Jarman (guitar, vocals).

Born and raised in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, Ross Jarman developed an interest in music and began playing drums at a young age. In 2001, he co-founded The Cribs with his brothers, and the band quickly became a prominent fixture in the British indie music scene. Their distinctive lo-fi sound, catchy melodies, and energetic live performances earned them critical acclaim.

As the drummer for The Cribs, Ross Jarman's rhythmic style is a crucial element of the band's sound, often characterized by its driving energy and straightforward, impactful beats. He has been an integral part of all the band's studio albums, which include their self-titled debut (2004), The New Fellas (2005), Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever (2007), Ignore the Ignorant (2009), In the Belly of the Brazen Bull (2012), For All My Sisters (2015), 24-7 Rock Star Shit (2017), and Night Network (2020). While primarily the drummer, the songwriting credits for The Cribs' material are collectively shared among all three Jarman brothers.
