Rosava is a river in the Kyiv Oblast of northern Ukraine. It is a left-bank tributary of the Ros River, which subsequently flows into the Dnieper River. The Rosava River has a length of approximately 84 kilometres (52 mi) and drains a basin area of about 1,200 square kilometres (463 sq mi).
The river originates in the hilly terrain near the village of Kotsiubynsk, flowing generally north‑northeast before joining the Ros River near the settlement of Hrebinka. Its course passes through a mixed landscape of forested areas, agricultural fields, and small villages. The Rosava's waters are utilized primarily for irrigation and local fishing, and the river supports a range of freshwater fish species typical of Ukrainian lowland rivers.
Geographically, the Rosava contributes to the hydrological network of the Dnieper basin, which is a major watershed in Eastern Europe. The river's flow regime is characterized by seasonal variation, with higher water levels in spring due to snowmelt and lower levels during the summer months.
