Romantica (album)

Romantica is the third studio album by the Mexican band, Belanova. It was released on February 20, 2007, by Universal Music Mexico. The album was produced by Cachorro López and follows the success of their previous albums, Cocktail (2003) and Dulce Beat (2005).

The album features a blend of synth-pop, electronic, and pop rock influences, characteristic of Belanova's signature sound. Lyrically, Romantica explores themes of love, relationships, and emotional introspection.

The album spawned several successful singles, including "Baila Mi Corazón," "Niño," and "One, Two, Three, Go! (1, 2, 3, Go!)." These singles helped propel the album to commercial success in Mexico and Latin America.

Romantica received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its catchy melodies, innovative production, and Belanova's continued evolution as a musical act. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Pop Album by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 2007.

Romantica cemented Belanova's status as one of the leading pop bands in Mexico and Latin America. It is considered a significant album in their discography and a key example of the synth-pop sound that gained popularity in the region during the mid-2000s.
