Roberto Maytín

Roberto Maytín (born February 10, 1989) is a Venezuelan former professional tennis player. Primarily known for his prowess in doubles, Maytín achieved significant success on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Futures Tour throughout his career.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Maytín turned professional in 2007. He is a left-handed player who utilizes a two-handed backhand. While he competed in singles for a portion of his career, reaching a career-high singles ranking of world No. 339 on July 20, 2015, his most notable achievements came in the doubles circuit.

As a doubles specialist, Maytín won multiple titles on the ATP Challenger Tour and numerous ITF Futures events. His consistent performance led him to a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 86 on October 12, 2015. This high ranking allowed him to compete in the main draws of Grand Slam tournaments, including Wimbledon and the US Open, where he participated in the men's doubles events.

Maytín represented Venezuela in various international competitions, including the Davis Cup, where he contributed to his country's efforts. He retired from professional tennis around 2019.
