Sir Robert Brian Verdin (15 February 1910 – 1992) was a British Conservative Party politician and Member of Parliament.
Early Life and Education
Born on 15 February 1910, Robert Verdin was the son of Sir Joseph Verdin, 2nd Baronet. He received his education at Eton College, a prestigious public school, and subsequently attended Trinity College, Cambridge.
Military Service
During World War II, Verdin served in the British Army, where he attained the rank of Major. His military service contributed to his later public career and experience.
Political Career
Verdin was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency of Oldbury and Halesowen in the 1955 general election. He served in the House of Commons for nearly a decade, being re-elected in 1959. He held the seat until 1964, when he decided not to seek re-election. Throughout his parliamentary career, he was a member of the Conservative Party.
Later Life and Other Roles
After leaving Parliament, Verdin continued to be involved in public life and business. He was notably the Chairman of the Family Planning Association, an organization dedicated to sexual health and family planning. He also held directorships in various companies. In recognition of his public service, he was knighted in 1964.

Sir Robert Verdin passed away in 1992 at the age of 82.
