Robert C. Wilson (full name Robert Charles Wilson, born 1951) is an American novelist and lawyer. He is known for works of horror fiction involving the supernatural.
Biography
Wilson was born in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1972 and from Wayne State University Law School in 1976. He subsequently worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Wayne County, Michigan, and drew upon his legal background in his writing.
Literary Works
Wilson's first novel, Crooked Tree (1980), is set in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan and concerns a sudden onslaught of bear attacks that reveal an underlying pattern. He published Icefire in 1984. His novel Second Fire (1993) deals with a conflict between Ojibwa Indians and archaeologists excavating a site, in which an Ojibwa calls upon spirits for assistance, leading to violence.

The name "Robert C. Wilson" is also sometimes used to refer to Robert Charles Wilson (born 1953), an American-Canadian science fiction author best known for his Hugo Award-winning novel Spin (2005). The two individuals share a similar full name but are distinct persons with different bodies of work: the former writes horror and supernatural fiction, while the latter writes science fiction.
