Robert Šlachta (born 30 March 1970) is a Czech former police officer, former commander of the Police Central Intervention Unit (Útvar rychlého nasazení, URNA), and the founder of the political movement Přísaha (Oath). He is known for his involvement in high‑profile criminal investigations and for promoting anti‑corruption policies in the Czech Republic.
Early life and education
Šlachta was born in Zlín, then part of Czechoslovakia. He pursued studies at the Czech Police Academy, graduating with a degree in policing and criminal investigation.
