Rim is a state constituency in the Malaysian state of Malacca. It has been represented in the Malacca State Legislative Assembly since its recreation in 1984. The constituency covers a mixture of urban and rural areas in the district of Alor Gajah and includes the towns and villages of Kemendor, Seri Kesang, Kelubi, Kg Rim, Bukit Katong, Padang Sebang, Simpang Bekoh, Chohong, Chinchin, and Simpang Kerayong.
History
- Created: 1959, for the first Malayan state elections.
- Abolished: 1974, when the constituency was split into Nyalas, Ayer Panas and Batang Melaka.
- Re‑created: 1984, largely from the former Nyalas, Batang Melaka and Ayer Panas seats.
