Rifat Maratovich Mustafin (Russian: Рифат Маратович Мустафин; born May 29, 1996) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Russian First League club FC Rodina Moscow.
Club Career
Mustafin began his football career within the youth system of [[CSKA Moscow]], one of Russia's prominent clubs. While he did not make a senior league appearance for CSKA, he gained experience with their reserve teams.In July 2017, Mustafin moved to [[FC Yenisey Krasnoyarsk]] on a season-long loan deal. During his time there, he played a crucial role in the club's successful campaign, helping Yenisey achieve promotion to the [[Russian Premier League]] (RPL) for the first time in their history. His performances led to the loan deal being made permanent on June 8, 2018. He continued to feature for Yenisey in the RPL during the 2018–19 season, before the club was relegated back to the [[Russian National Football League]] (FNL). He remained with Yenisey until 2021.
On June 16, 2021, Mustafin signed with [[FC Ufa]], another club in the Russian Premier League. He spent two seasons with Ufa, experiencing both top-flight football and, following Ufa's relegation, playing in the Russian First League.
On July 13, 2023, Mustafin transferred to [[FC Rodina Moscow]], where he currently plays in the Russian First League.
International Career
Mustafin has represented [[Russia]] at various youth international levels. He played for the [[Russia national under-17 football team|U17]], [[Russia national under-18 football team|U18]], and [[Russia national under-19 football team|U19]] national teams, gaining experience in youth tournaments and friendly matches.External Links
